Unfortunately, some amenities are in dire need of updates. the game room equipment, including the pool and foosball tables, was in rough shape—old and wobbly. We also encountered major issues during loadshedding, with power outages interrupting our evening plans, and no tennis balls were available for use. it’s a bit of a hassle when you have to trek to town just to withdraw cash for activities. After prior visits, it feels like the resort has fallen behind in keeping things fresh and appealing.

Our extended stay in the Two-Bedroom Chalet was cozy and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful mountain views. We appreciated the helpful staff who made our experience even better.

My stay at this resort was truly enjoyable, with the picturesque Leidam Bird Sanctuary just a short 2.5 km stroll away and the charming Montagu Museum just around the bend at 2.5 km. these easy walks allowed me to soak up the beautiful surroundings and historic landmarks that Montagu has to offer.

The scenic mountain views were stunning, creating a peaceful atmosphere perfect for a getaway. The hot pool offered a nice relaxation spot after a day of activities. cleanliness was a concern. the bathrooms showed significant mold, which detracted from my experience. Upgrades in decor seem overdue, as the room felt outdated, impacting the comfort level.

It was just an ideal choice for a quick break in Montagu with fantastic value. The kids loved the clean pool area, perfect for summer fun. Bring your own cleaning supplies just in case you need them.
